From monday 20th july our discovery experiences cocktail masterclasses and gin shop will all be available and open. Indeed during the first half of the 18th century a rapid increase in the consumption of gin in the big smoke and indeed across britain led to an epidemic that became known as the gin craze a time characterised by extreme drunkenness and social disorder. The ingredients are an international affair and include italian juniper berries and orris root spanish almonds and lemons grains of paradise from west africa chinese licorice and cassia bark angelica from saxony.
